The North Port Art Center is proud to announce the center’s First Annual Pottery Show open to all clay artists. If you work in clay, this will be a great opportunity for you to display and perhaps sell your pieces. The show will run from Saturday, September 8, through Saturday, October 13. Entry fee is $10 per piece, with a three piece maximum. All pieces must be freestanding on shelves or pedestals. This show will be juried by the public. Visitors to the art center during the exhibition will be asked to select their favorite piece. Prizes will be award for best of show, first, second, and third places, and several honorable mentions, depending upon number of overall entries. All entry fees will be applied to prize money. If your piece is sold during the exhibition, the usual rate of 30 percent to NPAC and 70 percent to the artist applies.
